@ How can I listen to talks?

Using our virtual conference platform is easy as ABC. You do not have to download or install anything and you do not need enormous internet access. You first have to register. Then you sign in and prepare for the meeting.

Please note, that we will use e-mail addresses given by your application.

During the conference we will stream pre-recorded presentations, each session will be ended by a live Q&A panel. The presentations will be available during 1 month after the congress for registered participants only.

You can ask our presenters in writing. In case we cannot answer all questions in the Q&A panel, we will provide you with a written answer.

Our stream will be transmitted by Vimeo, it might be blocked by some firewalls (mainly in big institutional architectures), if you know any issues on your network, contact your system administrator to allow Vimeo prior to the event.

@ How can I present a talk?

We ask our presenters to record their presentations and send the recordings to us before 20 September 2021. During the conference we will stream pre-recorded presentations, each session will be ended by a live Q&A panel. We ask you to be present at the questions of your session by using Zoom. You will be notified on detailed timing and the Zoom link itself soon.

REQUIREMENTS

• all presenters are requested to use the virtual background picture provided under section @How to set up the virtual background for Zoom sessions.
• to make your talk more efficient, please record your PRESENTATION ( screen) AND YOURSELF ( your webcam), too
• aspect ratio: 16:9
• format: .mp4, .avi or .mkv file
• quality: HD (720p) or fullHD (1080p)
  NOTE: 720p IS RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO HAS A VIDEO EMBEDDED IN HER/HIS PRESENTATION, IT PROVIDES A SMOOTHER STREAMING BY EXCELLENT READABILITY FOR THE REST OF THE PRESENTATION
• for the recording we recommend to use Zoom, but the detailed method is up to you, if you have another preference

• help to adjust the mic and sound
• the video will probably be a large file. For the sending, please use any of the public and free file sharing services, or email the finished material to us: diamond@diamond-congress.hu.

@ How can I visit the exhibition?

In our virtual exhibition area you will be able to find our supporters' booths and enter to meet them simply by a click. Here, you will be able to watch videos, brochures, meet the personnel (by a video chat right in your browser), and so on...

@ What is 'virtual lobby' ?

In our lobby you can enter the virtual realm of our community. You can set up an avatar and wander freely. You can chat with one or more colleagues.
